I was planning on buying a Black 2005 Dodge Dakota 4x4 club cab. However, I was dissapointed in the new body style. I think the chrome grill and the non matching grey bumper look hideous. Even the ST with less chrome has TOO much chrome. What happened to the Dodge Dakota 4x4 club cab sport style.

I would still like to purchase a Dakota but will buy a used 2002-2004 because it has a "less girly style" to them. I wish they would have given the consumer a choice as to a different style grill and bumper. Grey Bumper? Doesn't even match. Looks like an eye sore.

FYI you can get a sport appearance package on the new Dak that has body color bumpers. The Laramie has body color bumpers too.

 

hey thats my truck...well close..street scene grille and not ugly wheels...

anyway, i agree with ya...its like the durango...ugly
