Dodge Dakota The tough, mid size pickup, the Dodge Dakota. The Dodge Dakota has everything the big boys do with a mid size truck price.

You know it is hard to think that this year will be the last year for the only true Chrysler Corporation vehicle still in Dodge's lineup. The Dodge Dakota is the only vehicle that hasn't been touched/changed by "DaimlerChrysler". The Dakota was introduced in the fall of 1996 as a 1997 model, before the 1998 merger. It is hard to think that the last completely true Chrysler Corporation vehicle will be replaced w/ a new generation Dakota this coming September!

Then good bye dear friend... hard to believe it's come this far. But hopefully things will only be bigger and better for all of DCX models.

Yeah, it is just hard for me to think that the Chrysler Corporation I grew up to love will actually be completely swiped free of Dodge's slate this fall!

In this difficult time we have to think of the good times to come and the best memories of the past!

CHANGE JUST FOR THE SAKE OF CHANGE ISN'T GOOD. BUT I CAN'T SEE WHERE DAIMLER HAS DONE ANYTHING JUSTTO PUTTHEIR MARK ON OUR DODGE'S. FROM WHAT I CAN SEE THEIR INFUSION OF CAPITAL HAS BEEN BENEFICIAL. AREN'T WE TALKING EVERY DAY ABOUT NEON SRT-4'S AND RAM SRT-10'S? HOW ABOUT THE UP AND COMING DODGE MAGNUM? IF THIS IS BUT A SAMPLE OF WHAT'S TO COME FROM DAIMLER/ CHRYSLER I CAN'T WAIT 'TIL TOMORROW. THE AUTO BUSINESS IS NOW A WORLD MARKET. ALL OF THE BIG 3 HAVE TIES AROUND THE WORLD. ANYONE MY AGE CERTAINLY REMEMBERS THE PONTIAC GTO'S FROM THE 60'S AND 70'S. WELL THEY'RE BACK, BUT THIS TIME AROUND THEY GOTTA MAKE THE BOAT TRIP FROM AUSTRALIA. LIFE GOES ON AND LIFE IS GOOD! WELL ALRIGHT I GUESS THEY ARE MAKING US TAKE THAT FUNKY SPRINTER VAN, BUT OH WELL, FREIGHTLINER HAD TO HANG THEIR NAME ON IT FIRST!
