I was just wondering if anyone has heard of or seen a diesel Dakota from the factory in the U.S.A., because according to Wikipedia dodge made one but it doesn't say were they were sold.

 

wikipedia is wrong, dodge never made a dakota with a factory diesel

 

Check FAQ. It has been documented that a 4BT diesel engine has been swapped into the Dakota, but no diesel Dakota has been produced factory.

 

ok I thought that Wikipedia was wrong i just wanted to see. You never know what car companies do for all you know they could have made one for brazil or something like that and never released it in to the U.S.A. just like toyota with the diesel hilex were they still make it for other country's and all they did was give us the P.O.S gas tacoma (affective but could be better)

 

it may not have been a dakota just a small diesel truck but then again remember wiki is all user input so retards can put anything they want and if its believable they leave it.

 

Ya they did say it was a small diesel they said a i4 2.5. Ya i know that alot of people that post on wiki are dumb but the site trys to catch the wrong info as much as possible also it is not as easy to post on there any more because my friend tryed to make fun of this band a few years back and it wasn't even up there for 2 days
