Default trim trouble

i recently took off the rear pillar panels to replace the speakers. i didnt pay attention to how it fit before hand and now it doesnt look right anymore. the pictures below show where it isnt fitting right. the pictures that i have dont show the fitting error i was seeing, but they have a circle in the areas.
at the top it look like it is a little twisted with minor gaps. at the bottom there is a good 1" gap all the way around. any ideas of what's wrong? i know this is a noob question, i just cant get it to fit right. i've tried starting by putting the white duct that's on the back side of the panel in first, but it still wont fit.
