This is the hood I am planning on ordering for my Dakota next month. I looked around on several sites and this was the cheapest hood I found that I actually like.

It's not that rare... but it's frickin awesome!! LOL! I LOVE IT!!

Would you document the sep by step and take pics maybe... write up a tech article on removing the old and installing this product...? PM me if you want details on submitting a Tech Article.

I'll take picks of the install process and post them when it's done. A friend of mine is going to paint it for me when it comes in. I think it will look better than the stock hood.

Now my question is, should I lose the silver grille and get a red one to match? I have thought about doing that since I got the truck.

 

My opinion is... YES!! I'm all for the body color grille over chrome... ALWAYS have been, both versions are gorgeous but I prefer the colored grille. It'll look better with the hood I'd think too.

That hood is great. Maybe you can custome make an intake so the hood is functional as well as just plain nice looking.

 

That hood is perfect. That is the same as the AAR Cuda style hood that I wanted for my R/T and that I hope they make for the SRT-4.[sm=smiley17.gif][sm=smiley4.gif]
