Just bought one off of ebay. Made a mistake I guess, I thought the 3815 would work on my Dakota. I guess there are different 3815 units. Are they truck/motor specific? Meaning a 3815 will fit a Ram and a Dakota but the same one won't work on both trucks. I need to buy a 3815 made for a Dakota?

 

What year is your truck, I can move this thread into the proper sub section where others with the same year can reply?

 

It's an '04 with the 4.7L. I talked to Superchips and they said it would work. ????? I guess I'll try to install it and hope it doesn't ruin my motor.
