Hi. I just purchased a used 2000 dakota club cab from a checkered flag dealer and I had driven it for about 4 days when suddenly the alarm system made itself known.

It has not done it since, but now the security light on the dash blinks as if it is armed. I'm not sure what set it off.

I only have a single key and no key pad. Any idea on how to disable the alarm with out a key pad?

Does anybody know what is involved in getting another keypad?
