Default -JET Performance Module, Worth The Price?-

At this point I feel the best way to squeeze the most performance out of my truck now that I have air and exhaust taken care of is a chip or programmer. My only problem is, I hear the incredible claim the company feeds me (17ft-lbs/20hp) at the same time I hear people saying they make no difference. I have to admit, I think the stock computer on the 2005 Dodge is a**-backwards, so I think and difference will be a big difference, but I want to be sure. I'm not only looking for the increase in power, but the main thing that bugs me about the stock comp is the shift points. It drives me nuts how depending on how fast I'm going at the time, I can get any number of results when I floor it. It's like the damn truck has a mind of its own. What do you guys think? Is a performance module worth the cost (and the higher grade fuel), or is it a lot of hot air?

everything i've heard on the jet chip is that it doesn't do **** and the pcm relearns after a while i just got a superchips and the difference is night and day paid 200 for it on ebay i love it and thats with a manual im sure it would make an even better difference on an auto with the enhanced shift firmness and shiftpoints
