Hey can you guys tell me the sizes of the dakota torsion bars and were there different thicknesses? The measurements I am looking for are:
1. overall length
2. diameter of bar(s?)
3. size of the hex (are they both the same?)

What year is your truck so I can move this to the correct sub-forum?

 

I don't have a year, because I am trying to see if I can fit them in an e body/ b body. The max size they can be are this: 1.24" hex and 41" long. Just looking for info on all bars that were in the dakotas.

I don't think anyone will have dimensions off hand, especially in the general section (not much traffic at all). I think your best option is to go to a junkyard to look into some springs web sites. This one has great detail but I doubt on torsion bars. http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/leaf-springs

Mopar Performance has replacement torsion bars for E+B bodies.
