Can someone tell me what years the 9.25 and 8.25 were offered and what bolt pattern they had? Disk or drums?

It appears the 9.25 only came on later models and only had the 6 on 4.5 bolt pattern ...

it also appears that the earlier 8.25 (90-) had a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern. Is that right?

8.25 10 bolt
7.25 10 bolt

both 5/4.5 bolt pattern


1991-1997

8.25 10 bolt

6/4.5 bolt pattern


1998-2004

8.25 10 bolt
9.25 12 bolt

both 6/4.5 bolt pattern

2003-2004 rear disc brakes

9.25

5/5.5 bolt pattern

i'm not sure if the 8.25 is available for the 2005

 

I think all Dakotas after 1993 were 6 lug axles only. Then back to 5 lug for gen 3, that's 2005 and after.
