I am doing a front axle swap and am looking for a dana 44 front axle with 60 to 65 wms. I have found a rear dana 60 FF 35spl axle with 65 WMS from a J4000 truck and also has the 5 x5.5 lug pattern. Now I am looking for a complimentary front axle. If someone has something PM me or just post options here. I know the 78/79 Ford Broncos had the front HP44 but they are a bit long I believe at 69 wms. I would even consider using a dana 60 with a 60-65wms in the front and sell the rear for an 8 lug but the narrowed front 60 is a little difficult to find.
