So I was wondering, here it is 2015 now. A few years have passed since the good Ole boys at Dodge improved some of the drive train options in some vehicles.
Here's the query; would a transmission and engine combo from a 2012 or newer Charger fit, or be persuaded into a 2003 Dakota. V6 or one of the v8.
Or has it already been done. If so where can I find it, or get reference for it?

 

With enough time and money, anything could be "persuaded" to fit. Don't recall anyone on this forum doing it though. Can't imagine a drive train from a car would be suited for a truck.
