Default 2002 Dakota smelling coolant through vents

Hello all, I am smelling engine coolant coming through my vents whether I need heat or just some outside air. I don't have any leakage on the ground or anything noticeable on the engine. I have an idea what's going on but needed some advice from others before proceeding further. Thanks for all of your help.

Heater core leaking. If you smell it, it's leaking somewhere just gotta find it.

Thanks for the reply. It is what I suspected but really was hoping for something else, difficult task ahead.
