1999 Dakota Clunking
Alright, I'm about to lose my mind.
My 1999 Dodge Dakota has been making a clunk for almost a year, I've been slowly replacing parts on it when I have the money to.
I changed out everything, bushings, bearings, joints of all kinds (CV, ball, U), boots, wheels, rotors, calipers, pads, tires, tie-rods, sway bars, hub assembly, struts, checked the steering, the gearbox, transmission, had professionals look at it and nobody could find anything wrong.
Still this sound persists, it sounds like it's coming from the drivers side.
It only happens when the truck is in motion, it picks up speed and loudness as the truck does, when the truck is idle the noise isn't present.
What could possibly be making this sound?
