Default gear swap?

Hey does anyone know about how much it runs to change gears in 4x4 truck? I,ve got 3.55 now, but I have 33 inch tires and would like to change to something like 4.10.

Default RE: gear swap?

I'd like to renew this topic as I have 3.55s in my 04 QC 4x4 and am thinking of swapping in 3.92 gears while it's under warranty to increase my towing capacity. Unfortunately the truck is still under warranty but I still may have someone other than the dealer do the work to keep the cost down.

Other than changing the ring/pinion gears in each axle, are there any other parts that get changed out?

If the cost of the change isn't worth the money I'm just going to pick up an F-150 somewhere instead.

Figure it'll be about a grand, parts and labor. ~$250 for the labor per axle, ~$200 for the ring/pinion, and another $100+ for seals and bearings, again, per axle.
