Default Exhaust dilema

I have a 97 dakota 318. what size exhaust do I have before the cat and after? also I want to buy headers. what kind should I buy and where should I get the from?? By the way...I'm on a budget!!!

I think the stock pipe size is 2 1/4, if you are putting on exhaust I recomend 3 inch. I put 3 inch from the cat back with a Flowmaster muffler...SOUNDS AWESOME!.. As for the headers, I dont prefer any certain brand myself but I have heard good things about Hooker and Gibson. I have also been told that if you are wanting headers for added performance, that you are wasting your money if you dont get ceramic coated, long tube headers. If you are just getting them for sound then I guess the ceramic coating and long tube isn't as much of an issue. Hope this helps.[sm=smiley20.gif]
