DAKOTA V6 GURU'S HOLLER
Ok.. I had Flowmaster on my 6 cyl Dodge back in 99 and it didn't sound all that great, What is the best sound exhuast system for the V6 Dakota? Headers As Well.
ACTUALLY I would love to do a Exhaust System W/Glasspack... Which would be the BEST combination?
I'm going with Volant Intake, If Mopar Makes a new computer for it I'll go with Mopar... or just get the Hypertech or Superchips Programmer...
I notice that a Kenne Bell SuperCharger is not available for V6...
Anyone Know if that Fastman Deal is still goin'? I could look but I'm lazy But I would need a new TB.
AS FOR EXHAUST what is best SINGLE / SINGLE, SINGLE/DOUBLE or DOUBLE/DOUBLE (can that be done on a V6?) anway I want to squeeze as much power out of this thing as possible.

here is what ya do man......
Go get some Cherry bomb's aka glass pack's from checker or locale store.
get 2" inlet outlet Glass pack's , Mount them as close to the engine as possable....
Then get and adaptor and run 2-1/4" pipe all the way too your rear axel then get some trun down's so it blow's right at the ground... or you can run it straight out the back of the truck like most guy's Do....
Me i'd run the 2" Glass pack's get the adpator to 2-1/4" run that right out of the Glass pack a half of a foot then go to 2-1/2" pipe then at the back of th cabadpat itr once more to 3" pipe and run stack's either on side of the cab/box right where they seperat or right threw the floor of the box witch ever work's best.
