ok, so im going to the store to pick up some smokes and everytime i turn the wheel i hear a scraping sound, ive been hearing it since late friday night, but i could never see anything wrong because ive only driven it at night. So i decide i want to see what the hell is making that sound. I stop at the store and i see the plastic in front of my front driver side tire has popped out (its the plastic that makes up the wheel well) so i push it back in and go home.

I go home and as i get out, i notice that the bumper isnt lined up to the truck on that side, so i think "maybe that plastic isnt lined up right" so i mess around with the plastic a bit and the gap stays the same. Then my dad comes out to check it out and i show him whats wrong and he looks at it and says "well, i dont think that plastic is whats wrong with it at all" so i get out from under my truck and start looking closer and i see the little chrome strips on the driver side of the bumper are out of place and the more i look the more i can see that the FOKING BUMPER IS BENT! i look and i see a little scuff on the plastic of the bumper.


So apparently someone hit the bumper of my truck on friday night...now that i think of it, i had it parked at a sonic for about an hour, so it could have easily been hit there. Im so pissed, because i dont know wtf to do. I mean its not a real big fok up, but i can really notice it. I cant use my insurance to fix it, can i? Will my insurance go up because of this?


grrr, people **** me off, i wish i wouldve noticed it friday night when it happened


i need some suggestions, what should i do?

 

Bummer man!.......Yeah, sometimes ya just want to ring someone's freakin' neck! Do you have comprehensive coverage? I have had several problems taken care of by my insurance company for things I didn't cause over the years. Just let them know ASAP. Be truthful with them. They will probably ask if you filed a police report. If not, the say so. Especially since you didn't know until you got home.

Be glad it's the bumper and wheel well liner. It could have been a quarter panel, or door. I never park anywhere that has the potential for dents and dings. My wife hates to go anywhere with me because I park in left field to avoid you're very problem.

Insurance will cover it if you have comprehensive. Is it worth calling it in? In most states, prolly not.
