Should I "happen upon one" for a good price for my old d-100, I was just wondering what you guys can do to the 4.7?
BTW, I spend most of my time in the SRT-4 section, but I thought I'd come over here to the Dak experts for this one.

 

ooh that's tough. I know the aftermarket is building for the 4.7, but I don't know if it's there yet. Probably cams and headers are out so far, but aside from that? Since you're putting it in an old truck would you "happen upon" the wiring harness, ECU, tranny, and all assorted goodies as well? I'd probably pass on the 4.7 and look for a 5.2/5.9 that'll drop in a heck of a lot easier, but that's just me.
