Default Camper top

I am looking at putting a camper top on my '03 QC.
Does anybody have suggestions (good bad or indifferent)??
I was quoted $1000 to $1800 depending on the bells and whistles.
Thanks!

i have one made by Leer. full featured model 100xl cost me $1600 back 2004 thru a Ziebart store.

other brand names i know of are SnugTop, A.R.E, Century & Glasstite. just about any business that deals with RVs and campers usually deals in camper tops. fiberglass ones are the most expensive but look good when mounted. cheaper aluminum "shed" types can be as cheap as $300 but make a truck look like a work vehicle

I am looking at purchasing an A.R.E 'z-series' truck cap.

IIRC, the local RV place said it would be either 1500 or 1800 installed. A.R.E is also running a $50 off coupon. That would take care of most of the taxes.

I've got an '01 Quad. This is the cap I'm getting;

There's a guy down the road from me with this cap on a red extended cab and it looks SHARP. It has the extra half-step and roofline window without the dorky "hi-top" look.

Hi , I bought A High-C Century Camper Shell ,Its even with Cab And Then Angles Up A few Inches To Help Prevent The Wind Drag, . Its A Great Looking Shell, Get Lots Of Complaments On it. Plus Where I went A Century Dealer Said The Would Paint It To Match My Truck Which is Dodge Flame Red ,And They Matched It Perfectly, Plus Gave Me A bottle Of Touch up Paint. It will Work On Truck Or Shell. It Cost Me $1350.00. Just Go To http://www.century.com And Match the Shell You Want They'll Show How it Looks On Other Same Model Trucks And Give You A Quate. Oh Fill Out For There $50.00 Coupon Online And Print it Off ,They'll Honor it At Any Century Dealer ,But Do The Coupon Before You Order,And Let Them Know You Have It.

Good Luck Hope This Helps You!
