thats what the dakota r/t's should get is the hemi.

I don't know, there is absolutly no reason for them not to put the Hemi in the new Daks. I am going to be extremely mad if they don't put the Hemi in there, it weighs less than the 5.9 costs less to make than the 4.7 so why wouldn't they, stiffen up the frame if they aren't going to use the new Durangos frame and it'll be good go. I could care less wether it's a r/t or srt, a SRT badge would probably make the truck cost more, but has a sweet ring to it.

 

the "R/T" name is dead....for all models now.

and the Hemi wont be in the Dak....at least not right away!

plus that'd be really dumb of dodge not to put the Hemi in the Dak right away, they took the R/T away this year, could've put the 4.7L HO that's in the JEEP Grand Cherokees, and would've been better than the R/T with the 5.9L</P>

 

they should make a after market hemi R/T engine for the dakota </P>

i was just at the dealer looking at trading my pt in for a 04 dakota quad cab and i ask the dealer man when that dakota was getting the hemi and he said they were redesigning the dakota this spring to drop a hemi in it and it will be out for 05 so i told him ill be back next spring so i went home a called my uncle that works a the chrysler building and was joking with him about it and he said off the record it will be out sooner then 05 he also said that there might be a chance that the dakota sidewinder will be hereto
