I know that this is a newbie type question but looked all over the site and the net for it. i have seen a couple dakotas and a pt cruiser with a viper motor in it. does anyone know where i could do more research on this? anyone know what i am talking about?

 

thats a ton of work but would be awesome when finished. i think only a 2wd dak works. youd need engine/tranny/cluch assembly/computer/resessed firewall/rear end.
the list goes on and on but it would be sweet.

 

it can be done to dakota... the pics you might have seen (intense blue dakota with the v10) are photochops. better to just work the 5.7 hemi instead

 

I've seen on another website where a guy was putting a 6.1L Hemi into his 05 Dak. It was at www.dakotatrucks.com. Don't know what happened with since last year. Lynn hasn't put anything up about it since last year.

 

i remember that, i wonder what ever happened? last thing i heard he had it in, running and had taken it out for a drive, last i heard though.
