Size tire poll
What size tires are all you guys running? I'm talking on stock 16" rims mostly.
My stockers have passed 52k miles and I need to get new rubber before the New England winter starts! I've been looking at 255/75's figuring they are thinner and lighter than 275's which mean better mpg and better in the snow. Mostly looking at BF Goodrich All Terrain's in 255 I think.

Well, I've got 15", and I'm running 235/75 BF Goodrich All Terrains.
I like 'em. Haven't really driven a lot in the winter with them, but what snow I've driven it in, they seemed good.
I'll probably be taking a trip around Christmas time to New Hampshire to see my parents, so maybe around than I'll know how good these tires are, but, of course, by than it will be too late to let you know (always a minute late and a dollar short
)
According to TireRack.com, they are supposed to be "superior" for light snow and "excellent" for deep snow and ice traction.

I have 31x10.5 on a 15" rim. I have michlen ltx m/t on my truck. I only have about 30,000 km on my tires and there almost bald[sm=gears.gif]. my next se of tires I wanna fine a set of 17" R/T rims and put some knobby tires on them
.
skinny tires are allways better in the snow then wide ones. or you could go buy some snow tires and put them on junkyard rims so then you have summer and winter tires.
thats what I'll be doing.

I checked out TireRack. I liked their ratings for the AT's and I like the way they look. More "trucky" than the stockers.
I'd love to have two sets. But I have about 3 and a half sets of wheels for my Neons so I don't want another set of wheels in the garage!
