I just today became a Dodge owner for the first time so I thought I might post my truck on here. Its a 2001 that I bought used for @15400 out the door. Let me know what you think. The pictures were taken after dark because I didn't get home till then. I had a 2001 Ford Ranger that was stolen last month and this is the replacement for it. This has the v8 and 4x4 and all the other options.

 

Hey... what do you think about going from the Ranger to the Dakota??? I just bought my 2004 Dakota, and will pick it up tomorrow..... I had no intention on selling my Ranger... because I loved it! But I got a nice offer... so I sold the Ranger. Are you happy with the Dakota so far? Or do you miss the Ranger???

 

I really enjoyed the ranger while I had it. But I think I like the Dakota better. The ranger was a reg cab edge 4x2. With 4.0l and 5 spd. The Dakota is a 4.7l auto ext cab 4x4. It is actually alot more comfortable to drive for me and I like the overall room in the Dak better. The Dakota also has more options, so there is really no comparison between the two. The ranger was alot of fun, but I like the Dak better, except gas mileage.
