lil had the best advice, low milage .When you read about people who tow in overdrive because they know better than the manual .Or trany shops that do an oil change with Dextron .And then there are those that never plug it in no matter how cold it gets because it always starts . 4 blocks later they park it so it never does reach temperture . Then they complain about the sludge. All of which bitch about the crappy truck they own

Gary...best advice I can give you is to NOT buy one...no matter what year. Look at all of these forums and see how many people have problems with transmissions, front ends, back ends, etc. Just had to have my tranny rebuilt...99 Dak with 57K miles!!!

Like everyone before me said, these trucks are actually very reliable if you do even the most minimal maintenance. But, its a fact of life, some things are "lemons."
