Just picked up a 1-owner '00 Club V8 auto 4x4, 80k miles, at a Dodge dealership with a 3mo/3k mi chrysler warranty for $7595 + tax.

It was a friend-of-a-friend deal, they were asking $8995.

1993 Dodge Dakota LE 4x4, V6, 5-speed, manual everything, at about 78000 miles. Free.

My parents were going to sell it to me for $2000 about 5 years ago, and the kbb value was over $5000 they just wanted it off their hands. So I all I pay is insurance on it once a year for the past several years and its mine. Very, very lucky

i have a 99 RT that i got in the summer of 2005 with 29K miles on it. i paid a little over 12K for it with an extended warranty and all the other crap that comes with buying a car. im real glad i got that warranty but i know i got ripped off on the base price, but whatever. its mine and im paying for it, not my parents. and its not a POS like my last truck was...and my last truck was a 90 dakota with over 350K miles on it that my dad gave me. i loved that truck in high school but it SUCKED. needed so many new parts that i didnt have the money to put into so i just let it crap out and die. then my mom got me a freaking caravan. THAT was a death trap on wheels if ive ever driven one

Mine is a SPort Plus 4x4 with 4.7 and 45rfe, 3.55 rear, non tire/handling package model. It's an 04 I bought brand new in October of 2003 for about 24K. It stickered for hight 29s or maybe 30.The final total cash outlay with everything came to28K even out the door including taxes, tags, title, and all the projectedinterest over the life of the loan, much of which I didn't pay because It was paidoff within about 2.5 years. It's been paid for for about 18 months and I have all the goodies on it I ever wanted in a truck, so barring it getting totalled, it's a keeper for another 4-5 years at least.

Unexpected maintenance items were new upper and lower pax side ball joints last month at 60 thousand miles and a charcoal canister about a year ago which triggered a check engine light. Also, it has new aftermarket pads and rotors at both ends.

Accessories include dynomax 13 inch muffler with custom piping going to 3 inch tips behind the rear tires, K&N intake with AEM dryflo filter, carriage works billet grill, safari bar with 2 six inch hellas, brighter aftermarket replacements for the stock fogs, westin step bars, drop-in liner, soft tonneau, front tint, Alpine head unit with JBL front speakers, steel tail light guards, altezza tail light, bug deflector, ventvisors on all four windows,Toyo Open Country M410 all season truck tires(I want REVOS next), AR Baja polished aluminum rims, Reese hitch with 2 inch drop(Only because I got rearended 3 times in a year), 55 watt backup lights mounted to the hitch... DANG...

I just now realized for everything I put into this truck I could be in a fully loaded HEMI ram.
