Default Question on window molding...

Hello,

I am new here and have a question, maybe someone can help me out...

I have a 98 Dakota Sport, 108k on it so far and still runs great Problems I have with it is the rust... The front bumper is showing a fair amount of rust at first it was just bubbling now its visible, is it easier for me to sand it or just buy one from Ebay and replace it? I am thinking more towards sanding and wondering if anyone else has and how well it turned out?

#2) The bottom window molding (not sure the exact name) is rusting on both driver and passenger sides.. The part which is at the bottom of the window and appears to be mounted on the door. the part nearest the opening of the door is fairly well rusted I thought the adhesive under it was coming up.. bought some good adhesive then noticed its metal under there rusting away.. Where can I purchase this part? the dealer here wanted $78 a piece when I called there last week...

I say sand and repaint the front bumper. as far as the window moldings, if you are talking about the door glass lower outside molding, that is called a belt molding. the only thing you can do is replace them.
