Default 6mo Old Dakota

I have a 6 month old 2006 Dakota Quad Cab 4.7L 4x4 and already having problems. ABS and brake warning lights came on and then discovered I had no cruise control. Not a very happy camper (or Dakota owner) right now. Has anyone else experienced this failure? Oh. I should add that I had a 1993 Dakota 5.2L 4x2, purchased new for 10 years.

i haven't heard of anyone else having these sorts of problems...have you had it into the dealer yet? what was their diagnosis? once they sort it out for you, i sure hope your truck provides you with many years of service--there's many of us who are quite happy with these trucks.

by the way, welcome to the forum. this is a good group of helpful people....enjoy!

could be a vaccuum system problem, check the lines if your up for it, cause cruise control works off vaccuum pressure, so does the brake booster, your brake sensors would of went as well, if shes still under warranty, bring her to the dealer and mention the vaccuum system, does the engine vibrate badly when shes running? cause it needs vaccuum pressure to keep it running nice and smooth
