jsut as it says, 1990 3.9 not starting. been driving this truck ssince 91. never let me down before, but today it wont start. you can hear the fuel pump come on, checked the coil gettting spark there, pulled plug wire, getting it there as well, looked down tbi and you can see fuel as the engine cranks, so i put new plugs in it just now and still nothing. it ran great last nite when i drove her in to work. not sure where to go from here, no 1 piston is up and dist points to number plug wire, dist also turns, kind a at a loss now, im going to try shooting a little gas in the tbi in the morning, any other suggestions? thanks for you help. brian

 

does it have a throttle position sensor? have someone just crack the throttle while starting or place a srewdriver in between the throttle lever and the ilde stop. it may have a dead spot in it. Aso try a little gum out spray in the trottle body, you may have a dirty port in the throttle body.
