Default Bad clutch on the darts?

Has anyone heard anything about this or is it just rumors? friend of mine talked to their dealership their car is built but is stuck in "storage."

Apparently Dodge is concerned about the clutches and is holding back on releasing any more 6MT until they resolve the issue!

Ive not heard anything about this...nor have I heard of any clutch issues on the Dart. Ive driven a handful of them very hard with no issues.

there might not be anything wrong, I know from driving by many assembly plants throughout metro detroit and flint that they dont ship them as fast as they make them. case in point the chevy truck plant in flint at the intersection of I-69 and I-75. They store up alot of tucks before loading them on the trains for shipment. So if dodge is sending them out by rail they may be waiting untill they have a bunch of them before they ship in order to advantage of enonomies of scale.

just a thought and my $0.02

There has been talk of potential issues with the clutch master cylinder on another forum. From what I remember seeing is that it is more then likely the early release ones that had the issue and the ones being built now shouldn't have any issues, but they are testing it before it leaves the factory to verify.
