Question 2015 Dart SXT 2.4L - Tire Monitoring

Hi there,

New to the forum and this has been my first new car ever purchased.

I was wondering what would be the downfall of putting winter tires on my Dart without adding / purchasing another set of those tire monitoring sensors?

Would the only thing I would have to worry about is seeing some light or error on my dash? Or would it make my Dart think it is constantly loosing traction? I could live with just an error or indicator showing on the dash.

Traction control is based on your ABS sensors, not tire pressure.

I believe the no TPS signal error goes away after a while.
