Default Oil Life 56%

Using the Oil Monitor (not mileage) when should you change the oil in a DART GT? Monitor states 56% life left? I usually go by Mileage, but forgot to write it down the last oil change ( I changed the oil).

cheers

Wait till it gets to 10% or so. It will tell you when to change it.

Thanks jkeaton. Just don't want to get in and issue like the GM engines are having (example 3.6 litre v6 timing chains.) I know this motor has a timing belt, but can you really trust the oil monitor system?

The manufacturer trusts it, so yes. If you feel uncomfortable, change it whenever you like.
