Hi, I'm new here for posting, but I always refer to the forum when I am having an issue. I'm a long time Dodge Buyer. My current vehicle is a 2014 Dodge Dart SXT. Today I noticed a noise towards the back of the engine, for lack of a better adjective it sounds like a low flying helicopter. This noise only happens when I am idling. The clutch seems fine, and it has oil. I take it in for regular oil changes. 61,000 miles. I know a lot of people complain about the tick of the engine, but it's not that. I drove it around a little, and there are no performance issues. I can go up hills and stop and go no without a problem. I would appreciate any help I can get with this, so it doesn't have to go to the dealership. I have worked on a few vehicles and have never heard this sound. Thank you.
