Charging System Light, then ETC light issue = dead battery 2 days later
Hi everyone...first post in here and a little confused.
I have a 2013 Aero 1.4 T Manual
Had a small issue 2 days ago while driving. Went through a large puddle of water 2 days ago...maybe couple inches deep and did not go through it quick (maybe 5 mph in a turn to go into a parking lot). Not even sure if that has anything to do with the issue or not. About 5 or 10 seconds later the Battery charging light went on for 5 seconds, went back out and then the ETC indicator light illuminated for maybe 30 seconds before i shut it off. It didn't blink...stayed on solid. Car seemed to still run smooth. Went into the store, came out and it started fine with no issue. Did not drive it yesterday. Went to start it up this morning and nothing. Not even a click. Luckily i have a portable battery pack to jump it and it took some time...3 attempts but it went. Its been running now for 30 min in the driveway. Shut it down, started it back up with no issue. No codes showing on the OBDII reader at all. System Voltage shows while running between 14.06 - 14.25 constantly while in idle and no accessories...will drop too 12.9 - 13.5 with blower and radio going.
Any thoughts? Battery going out? Alternator going out? The ETC light has me thrown for a loop unless it was just a bad voltage issue as i know these dam things are all electronic.
Thanks for any help.
