The anti theft alarm just keeps going off and the car won't start. To keep it from beeping we have to unplug the battery. We've tried turning the key from driver's side and it seems to stop it and we're able to drive it but it comes back on. It's happened once before and im not sure how we got the information last time (probably an online thread) but we pushed some buttons on the key fob and it stopped it completely. We've tried this time around to no use but we don't recall the exact sequence and the one listed on the manual doesn't help either.

You should be able to press unlock (sometimes twice) with the key fob and it should stop normally. What I'm going to suggest is going off basic key fobs for other cars I have dealt with so they may or may not be applicable to your set up:

1: you may have a bad/damage chip in your key, (they can be finicky) if you have a spare key, try that and if it works, it's the key

2. Dying batteries in your key fob,

3 corrosion on your key fob contacts. A qtip and some isopropyl alcohol can rub a lot of that off of not most. Just make sure it and the surrounding area is COMPLETELY dry before you put your batteries back in.

What year and sub model is your dart? That might help narrow it down
