1990 Daytona Front Suspension Noise
About a year ago, I purchased a 1990 Daytona with only 44,000 miles on it and have since drove it about 10,000 miles. The car had been sitting about 4 years and I replaced the front struts, front brake cylinders because the bushings had rotted and rear shocks. The car is in excellant shape, but Icann't help butstill notice a loud noise in the front suspension. When ever Ihit even a small bump, it sounds like something is loose in the front suspension. I've checked the tie rod ends and just about everything else and nothing appears loose or worn. At first I thought the noise was coming from the brake cylinders because the bushings had rotted away. Replacing them did help with the noise, but it did not eliminate it.
This does not appear to be the problem and I'm dumb founded as to what it could be. The whole car is original and it has never been wrecked. Does any one have a suggestion!
