Ok, this is weird. When I start the car, I see the battery gauge go from the left and then it pauses a 1/4 of the wayand then jumps to the middle of the gauge. I'm thinking the battery is going.The car sat for most of the winter and I started it up from time totime. Ok, this was months ago. The car is giving me an error code 12, so I figured sooner or later the battery is going to bale. When I use the power windows, the gauge acts like there is a surge. Still running on the same battery. The thing that scares me is that when I drive the car, it acts like its going to cut out, ( this has happened at least 3 times and I also have a bad cat, so I am thinking that is part of the problem of the near stalling)or the stereo will all of a sudden quit and then go back on again, or the turn signals will act like a bulb burnt out(which one did burn out and the signal was fine after that).Only once did the stereo lose the memory with the settings. The turn signaldid that again the other day, I figured another bulb burnt out, (which is typical on the taillights on these cars because of the wiring system)but then when I went to make another turn, it was fine. Am I dealing with something serious to worry about? It's done it at least 2 or 3 times and I am still getting error code 12. What should I do or should I just wait until something bales completely???I am worried that I will wind up with a car fire from bad wiring and I don't need or want that. Can't take her to a mechanic just yet due tobeing out of work. Any help appreciated.

Clean your battery terminals and check the body grounds. Hope that helps.
