Two weeks ago I decided to strip and polish the pizza wheels on my 7000 mile original Turbo Z. I put the jack under the back of the car and start jacking it up, it just gets the rear tire off the ground when the cars drops about two inches. I look under the car and instead of placing the jack under the rear axleI placed it under the rear strut bar and it just buckled under weight. I go to the garage that does most of my work, he calls Chrysler who tells them the part is no longer available. He manages to find one at a local junk yard that is quite rusty and crudy looking. After grinding on it for about 4 hours it looked better but not good enough. I went to Chrysler in person and he found 2 brand new ones in Detroit. Twenty two years after my Daytona was built there are still new ones out there, yea, I got lucky
