PCV Valve
On my 89, the PCV is connected by hose between the valve cover and the carburetor. There is an outlet on the backleft centerof the valve cover, where the hose connects. The PCV looks like a bent plastic hose connector. The easiest way to remove mine is to get the carburetor air filter assembly out of the way first. It's connected with the 3 square (1/4" drive) plugs on top, the main air duct, and 2 smaller hoses, all of which are easy to disconnect.
There should be a map of your Emission Control system attached to the bottom side of the hood, behind the insulation, somewhere between the battery and the carburetor. It's usually a stick-on label. Might be somewhere else though.
