Default 1992 daytona 2.5 mods

Hey everyone, I just picked up a 1992 daytona GL, in decent shape, has some rust that needs to get fixed, but that will come in time. Right now it needs an exhaust, i was thinking of doing 2.25" from the header back, high flow 2.25" cat. what would you recommend for a muffler? I DONT want it to sound ricey at all, i nearly **** myself everytime i hear some honda drive by. Im also looking into doing a 2.0 neon 16v head swap, but that doesnt seem exactally bolt on, considering my 2.5 is TBI and the neons are MPI, and the small fact that the intake is on the other side, right where my distributor is. Im also looking to ditch the 3 speed for a 555, does anyone know if the axle shafts are the same, or are the manual ones a different length? Thanks for the help, any tips for the car are welcome to.

The auto tranny does not have a rear mount as opposed to the A555 whichhas a rear minishock mount, not sure if the ears will need to be cut off the cradle on donor car and weldedin your car, I'll have to check on that, otherwise all mounts are the same.

Magnaflow muffler all the way. You will not sound ricey. Also, there is some great mod ideas for the 2.5s over at turbododge.com. Plus a section on a 16v neon head swap. I would check there.
Hope that helps.

Ah, I took the balance shafts out of my RT and with solid mounts and a solid boble strut, its not bad at all. And the way it now revs is totally worth any small amount of vibrations.
