Ok I recently bought my car for rockbottom prices and plan on doing extensive repairs to get it back to "Near Mint". Yes I know this can be foolish but this is the dream car so sinking money in is not a big deal.
Anyway I recently fixed the light pod in the car and replaced the lamps inside that light it up. Now the lights inside the unit don't seem to go off at all. All the other interior lights go off still, but the ones in the pod that I replaced now just seem to stay on all the time. Are these courtesy lights? Should they be on all the time? If not does anyone have an idea what needs to be replaced to get them back working with the other dash lights?

 

Ok they went out after a few hours, they are either burnt out or have shut off, I walked past as I did not want to risk them being on again if they were off.
