What trans?
Since I can't even give the damn thing away,might try something a little unorthox. Is there a RWD trans that'll bolt up to a 2.2? How about this idea. A
north/south mounted 2.2 with rediculous boost. Anybody seen it/done it?

I'm not sure if the bolt patterns are the same but older Dakotas and JeepWranglershad 4 cylinder engines, so that might be a good place to start you search for a transmision. Or you might be able to fab up an adapter plate for your transmission of choice.
