I always thought the Laser was kind of a cool looking car. Sadly they seem to be very rare. The only one I have seen up close was in a junkyard and in very sad shape.

Yeah I specially like the ones with the talking alert systems.

My brother in law had one it didn’t run I wasn’t sure what was wrong with it I didn’t ask but while I was gone on vacation he had it towed off to the junkyard needless to say I wasn’t happy.
I would have bought it from him if he had of told me he was getting rid of it but when I had asked him before he say that he wanted to keep it he told me after I’d gotten back that the city made him it rid of it for being a eye sore and they and only gave him three days to do it so needless to say I was gone for a week.

I remember our summer baseball coach had one that he always kept clean. All i can recall about it was: had a manual trans, sunroof, and was red. Back then everybody on the team wanted to ride in it. Not sure what happened to it though....i know he traded it off for an eclipse.

Are you talking about the Plymouth Laser/Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon of 89ish-93ish or the Chrysler Laser of 84-86? The 84-86's (I have an 85 Laser and an 88 Daytona Shelby Z) are identical to the Daytona's of those years except for the badging and the spoiler. The 89-93's were made by Mitsubishi and are only MOPAR in name only. Almost bought a Talon TSI from the same place I bought my Laser.
