I need to replace the clutch on my '88 Daytona Shelby Z 5spd and I'm looking for the cheapest parts available. This is not a drag machine, or any sort of performance monster. I need it to run and drive--that's it. Its going to be stock for at least the rest of the year and driven semi-daily to work once running. The car itself (and the engine) has less than 61,000 miles so I'd imagine everything else should be in working order minus the usual hoses, belt(s), and the like.

Suggestions on where to get the parts needed for the transmission and anything else I might need? *edit*Kep in mind I live in Texas as well. Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I'm new here so go easy on me as I'm not really a Chrysler/Dodge person. I just love Daytonas.

 

You'll have better luck on the Allpar or turbo dodge site.

There's a lot more traffic there for these cars.

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the info. I am already a turbododge member. Once I get the car running I can accurately tell what is in need of replacing on the Shelby. I'm hoping its something cheapbut won't count on it. [8D]
