Define "a lot of money".

Default improve daytona performanc..

if you have not done so already get some new spark plugs and premium plug wires, fuel filter,an accel super stock coil will improve smooth acceleration and is only about $25 at about any parts store, check all of your vacuum lines for leaks and proper routing(diagram for hose routing should be on under side of hood,an easy way to increase boost is toput shims or washers between waste gate mount and turbo housing.this will increase your boost by increasing pressure needed to open waste gate. you will have to experiment with thicknesses of washers needed as to set the desired boost.dont go over 14lbs of boost because the stock computer cant compensate for the needed fuel mixture and you will run too lean which you dont want.also only run 93 octane minimum for best performance. also dont run tires that are bigger then factory recommended(on door panel) this will only strain your engine. I think you will be happy with your increased performance with just these few minor repairs. also daytonas are noted for their mufflers plugging up, so check yours, if you accelerate quickly and let off and it sounds like it has a deep tone to it then you probably have a bad muffler,if you need to replace muffler dont go crazy with some expensive brand name a dynamax or stock replacement will do just fine.

Check out turbododge.com and turbo-mopar.com and post this question there as well.

Tons of turbo dodge freaks on those sites and they are more than willing to give you their 2 cents!
