hello all i am new here,
im looking at a 1988 dodge daytona with a 2.5 engine to fix up as a street racer for the track. I have not been in the past a mopar person but hey we can change right?...lol anyway, i am wondering what other motor options are out there without a total redesign of the front clip......am open to any advise

 

the 3.0L and 3.3L Mitsubishi/chrysler motors would work, would almost be a straight swap with little if no fab work, just get the trans to match

 

hey im just wondering what fab work would be needed to put a v6 in the 88 daytona, i have an inline 4 in her and i havent run it yet lol, i changed the head gasket and need to time it but shes too low for mw to get under, and in a lot by a beach lol
