I hope someone can help. I just bought a 93 Daytona and the driver's power window does not work, but was up. Upon taking the door panel off, I discovered that the previous owner "fixed" it by screwing a board to hold the window up. Further, it turns out that he had also removed the remains of the window tape. All of the instructions I have seen say to make sure to measure the old tape, but I can not do so. Does anyone know how long the tape should be?

Any other advice on tackling this repair? I am planning on following the instructions here http://www.allpar.com/model/m/window-fix.html.
