Default Heater Fan motor

I have a 1990 Dodge Daytona and the heater fan seems week. The windows wont even stay unfogged in cold weather. It sounds like the motor is working good, but the air bloing out is week. Is this normal or is the motor bad?

Has it been getting progressively worse or did it start all at once? Is the air intake for the heater (under the hood, beneath the windshield, passenger side) clogged or blocked? Just running through some ideas...

Default Daytona heater fan

I bought the car a year ago and it has been the same since I bought it. I checked for and blockage and cleared some leaves out, but it made no difference.

Next question- does the fan speed change when you change the speed settings or does it stay constant?

The speed schanges fine when you switch the switch and the defrost and floor both work like normal.

You may have debris built up blocking the airflow.

+1,

I've never had any issues with windows de-fogging in the winter and I've owned a couple of '90's. Something must be blocking airflow, or possibly the motor brushes are going?
