91 daytona non-turbo ignition problems
I have a 91 daytona non-turbo and it has a sporadic problem of not starting. It gets fuel and if i mess with a 4 wire ribbon that goes directly under the distributor cap it will start. if anyone has any experience with this please let me know. thanks guys and gals

I can't remember now if that has 4 wires on it or not, but that sounds like what you're talking about.
Those have a history of wire failure from what I hear (although personally I've never had a problem with them).
Go to autozone's website and you can look at repair guides for your car to see if that's what you're looking at. Also, do a search for "hall effect pickup" and daytona's.
