any shelby owners

I have 2 87 turbo z's ones super clean one owner but came with blown engine other is ratty but t-top car. im gonna part it out after i pull the motor. i wanna build a stout 200-225hp street motor for my nice car any input on this. i bought some stuff from fwd but i got hosed.. for the screwing i got they shoulda thrown in KY.
